No, I haven’t been at the vodka, well not yet anyway, my kitchen ceiling’s been fixed, hurrah!
Unfortunately, that means the kitchen was a no go zone regarding much baking, or icing. I did manage to make some cupcakes before the plasterer arrived (unexpectedly) but no time to decorate. They’re for Panto rehearsal tomorrow, and luckily my friend Kirsty has a batch of buttercream (don’t you love having friends that bake) so hopefully I can take my piping bag and finish them off once I get there.
Heigh ho, the Christmas Cakes and Elvis will have to wait
