Oh my, they do say that every cloud has a silver lining don’t they?

As my oven died, I needed another one quickly. The one we inherited was a cheap chainstore brand, but I wanted a good one to replace it. Surprisingly, the hob is a great brand, Neff, so I went on an internet hunt to find the best buy…and struck gold 😃 I managed to get a brand new ‘slide and hide’ oven at a discounted price because it had been on display in a local shop. We always try and buy our appliances there because of the friendly staff, and aftercare. In this instance, I saved almost £100 compared with the branch of a popular electrical retailer in town (think spicy food) so big thank you to Harry Garlick’s in Burnley and Padiham!

And here is my latest ‘pride and joy’ I’m ashamed to say, the first thing I ‘cooked’ was fish fingers! We’d had the roofer in and out all day so it wasn’t really possible to prep anything. They were very superior fish fingers mind you 😋
