In a previous post I told you about the Beauty and the Beast day I was lucky enough to be part of. What I didn’t mention is that I had intended to make a cake as part of the ‘Jacobs Join’. In the end I decided to make individual red rose cakepops for each guest which I packaged in cellophane and tied with ribbon, and I just didn’t have time to make the cake 😥 It didn’t really matter, as there was soooo much food, and our hostess with the mostest, daughter in law Abigail, had made a lovely cake which you can see in the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ post 😊
I still wanted to make one though, and I had completed the actual baking part, so yesterday I set to work and finished it off. I’m really pleased with how it turned out…..Just need someone to eat it now!
