Apart from being my birthday, yesterday was our Panto Social night. This is when we watch ourselves on dvd, enjoy supper together and reveal our next production. The bakers amongst us provide ‘dessert’ in cake form, which gave me a good excuse to practice some Easter themed Cupcakes 😋
It was a brilliant evening, everyone singing along and enjoying the show from an audience perspective, which of course you can’t do when you’re on stage! Everyone sang Happy Birthday to me in the supper break too, which was lovely. The big reveal at the end only added to the excitement, with ‘Cinderella’ proving to be a popular choice 😊
Today is my family birthday gathering (just hope no one plays any April Fool pranks!) so I’m off to make a start on preparations for that.
