A bump in the road

Hi, my attempts at normalcy hit a little obstacle over the weekend, with an unexpected trip to the hospital that ended up lasting three days 😷

However, I’m fine now and eager to ‘catch up’ so here goes!

Friday evening was spent with family, some on stage and some not, at Greenbrook Theatre Group’s Murder Mystery Production ‘Who killed the soap star’. It was a great performance and hilariously, no one guessed the murderer! It’s the first production I haven’t taken part in for quite a while, so it felt a bit weird being in the audience at first, but I soon got engrossed in the show, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had pie and peas supper in the interval, and cakes provided by the bakers in the Society. This was my contribution 🍰🍥😋 but there was a fantastic selection. I sampled a blueberry and lemon cupcake made by Sue, one of the producers, which was absolutely delicious. Must ask for the recipe 😊 Despite the temptation, I only had the one, but it was cake paradise on that table!
