Cakes, Bakes, and Me

A Place to Change

https://wp.me/p3pmEs-C8

This blogger just happens to be my sister. I am the sister she refers to in her post. Yes, I have to use a wheelchair for anything other than short distances, when I use crutches. It took me a long time to accept my disability. I grieved, felt useless, a burden to my family….I’m sure this will resonate with a lot of you too. I finally got to a place where I can focus on what I can do, and with help and support, I now get creative with cakes, and as Chairman of a local amateur Pantomime Society. I’m so proud of my little sister for writing this post. We live at opposite ends of the country, so don’t see each other much unfortunately. She wants to make a change so that anyone with a disability can keep their dignity in the most basic situation ever….. please read this all the way to the end, and if you can help…please do

By the way sis….love you ❤
