Confession….. I haven’t baked this week π I know, it’s disgraceful isn’t it? The truth is, I made too much batter for the Mother’s Day cake, and ended up with an ‘extra’ cake.
I’m not one for waste, so hubby and I have been munching through it, and even though it was Saint Patrick’s Day (an excuse to make cake to be sure!) I couldn’t bring myself to make more cake when we already had some!
Instead, I’m going to show you what I got from Party Animal, a cake decorating store based in Blackpool. I usually buy from their eBay shop when I just want an odd item, but this time I ordered direct from their online shop.
There’s something about a parcel arriving that makes me feel like a kid again, and even though I knew what was in it, I was still excited to open it!
So here’s what I got π
My favourite Renshaws fondant as my supply was getting low!
FMM Press Ice texture tool and PME Tree bark impression mat
Culpitt Curly Candles because well…..Curly Candles! And Sugarflair food colour because I always need more red than any other colour!
FMM Frill cutters. I’ve been eyeing these up for a while. There are so many designs to choose from though! I finally settled on these, but can see some of the others going on my ‘wish list’ sometime soon π
These I have been coveting ever since I got the mini alphabet set. They are just so easy to use! Cake Star sell these separately or as part of a set.
Ok, I know Christmas is a long way off, but I couldn’t resist these Patchwork Cutters, and besides that, if I added them to my order I got free delivery π Totally worth it!
So that was the last of my Christmas present money spent!
I can’t wait to start using them, good job it’s family birthday season πβ€
Until next time
Stay safe and healthy
