The Result is in!

Hi everyone

Thank you to everyone who left a comment on my last post re the Cute Castle and Dragon Cake that I will be attempting to recreate today in my live online class πŸ˜€

I had seven responses and used http://www.wheelofnames.com to choose one person to gift the finished cake to

Viki Shaw was the lucky winner! Viki has very special twin girls, Summer Violet and Isabella Rose, for whom I made the rainbow cake to celebrate their first birthday 🌈

As the colours are already perfect, I will be making the cake as it is shown in the picture…..or as close as I can! Gerry Chiu is a brilliant tutor and as always, factoring in my pain coping mechanisms, I intend taking my time with it!

I’ll be back soon with more details and to show you how I got on!

Until then

Stay safe and healthy

Another β€˜prize’ cake claimed!

Hello lovelies,

Back in September, I hosted a Macmillan coffee morning, and offered a custom cake as a raffle prize. Just after New Year I was asked by the lovely lady who won it, to make a cookery themed cake for her to take to her cooking class which was restarting after the Christmas break.

This was a fun one to make I must admit. The wording was requested, then I added the hob, the chopping board, knife, carrots and potatoes, a tea towel on each corner, and of course the little cake.

I hope it went down well in class!

Since then I’ve been busy with Panto, but that’s a post for another day πŸ˜€

Until then

Stay safe and healthy
