Hi all, apologies for the delay since my last post. Such a busy time with family visiting, and birthday season for us!
I’ll start from where I left off last time, which was my impending birthday π
As you can see, my amazing daughter in law made me a beautiful cake π°β€ and we had a family get together to celebrate.
I got some wonderful gifts π including my Airbrush kit…yay! Some more cakey bits and bobs from my Amazon wish list which I’d shared with my nearest and dearest β€
Amazon gift cards which I promptly made inroads into buying this lot!

Because I seem to use my 6″ tin the most and I only had the one π

Primrose Bakery Everyday (Exclud Can) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B015YX077I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_taa_cxc3AbTE5D7D8
It was 99p… I couldn’t resist
The Fifth Elephant: (Discworld Novel 24) (Discworld series) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00354YA9K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_taa_kzc3Ab6C9RTMD
And just to prove it’s not all about cake (mostly….but not all lol π) I also got this for an amazing 99p! If you’ve never read Terry Pratchett, this is a bargain but I don’t know how long it will stay at that price so grab it quick!
I also had a practice at doing buttercream rosettes with one of my new Wilton tips, the 1M. Now I know why it’s so popular, it almost does the work for you! I need to practice getting them all the same size, but the cake looked pretty anyway I think?
Last weekend, I also hosted a Stand Up To Cancer bake sale at my house. Although slightly disappointed with the turn out, I still raised Β£100. Many thanks to my friend Elaine Morris for helping out and making cake too, and to Abi, my daughter in law who couldn’t make it but donated a fruit cake, and joined us later on π

Last but not least, yesterday we celebrated my mother in law’s and my hubby’s birthdays. I made a very special cake for this. So special it deserves its own post!
So, for now
Stay safe and healthy
Debbie β€
